What is the Fitness Center?
The Fitness Center is our special premium service that generates personalized sessions based on your profile set up and needs. It also lets you customize a session and save favorite workouts, as well as track your progress.
What does FitLab Beta mean?
While in Beta, FitLab will be testing and trying out new things.
Why are there so many questions in the profile set up?
FitLab takes all these variables into account to insure you get workout sessions that are designed for you, your, body, your goals, your time and your lifestyle.
Do I have to do FitLab everyday?
No. You can use FitLab as often as you like. As a full fitness program, a compliment to other activities like the gym or running, or just when you need to sweat.
Why do you show the muscles?
It’s proven that focusing and visualizing the muscle being targeted provides better efficiency of movement and yields better results
My video stutters
We deliver a High Quality and High Def video. In some cases it may be a result of your connection. Internet bandwidth is constantly changing and this can affect your video. First, try pausing the player for a moment to let video load and get ahead. If that does not work, clear your browser's cache.
We also recommend you close other open applications to get your PC's best performance.
How are calories determined?
Calories are based on calorie burn rates for average users and body types. Your actual results may vary based on your effort and completion levels. Even your BMI has an affect on this.
The actual time at completion is different than the requested session length
Our sessions may often be within a couple minutes of requested session length. Different exercises take different amounts of time to complete. So depending on the exercises it would not be unusual for 20 minute session to end at 19:20 or 21:47.
What are the Reward Points?
These are points that you accumulate based on your activities. Points are only counted in the fitness center.
Why is there a set up or tutorial at the beginning of each exercise?
These are there to set up, introduce, or remind you how to do an exercise. They also measure out a rest interval in between exercises. You can pause this if you want more rest time.
Can I focus on a particular area or muscle group?
Yes. You can select Customize in the player and it will deliver a focused session, or go to the channels and select the exercises and areas that are of interest to you.
What do the Access icons mean?
These show the different ways you can access FitLab now and in the future.
Can I do FitLab on my TV?
Yes. But right now your flat screen would need get be plugged into your PC or laptop. It’s easy, and unlike other online video, FitLab looks great on your TV.
